WDS was officially founded as a commercial grounds maintenance business with one truck, one trailer, and a few pieces of equipment when Virgil was 19 years old. However, the idea was planted much earlier when he was in the second grade and following his father around to local plumbing jobs. This is where he learned the importance of being prompt, doing the job right the first time, and standing behind your work – three main pillars of the company to this day.
